Position: Showroom Reception/Sales Assistant
Hours: 11AM to 3PM Monday-Friday
Wage: $15.00/HR minimum depending on experience
Kaiser Flooring is a retail flooring store that specializes in residential and commercial flooring sales & installation. Established in 2005, we have worked with the greater Cheyenne community and surrounding areas for 17 years in providing quality material & services for new build construction projects and remodel projects. We have two owners with a combined 50+ years in the flooring industry with a friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist customers from the beginning of their project to the end.
Job Description:
The showroom reception/sales assistant role serves as the first point of contact for any customer coming in and most customers calling for information. This position is responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to, greeting customers/clients, assisting customers and other staff where necessary, answering and routing calls to appropriate personnel, and managing the front desk/reception area as well as assist in managing the showroom and associated areas.
Major Responsibilities:
*Must learn an array of flooring products & their uses for sales and any related questions.
*Answer/screen and direct incoming calls while providing basic information when needed such as company information, directions, company website, and other related information.
*Greet customers/clients, answer phones, and take notes to relay information to the appropriate staff member as necessary.
*Interact in a positive manner with all customers/clients, associates, vendors, and the general public.
*Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the showroom/reception area including, but not limited to: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, gathering of trash.
*Maintain a social media and online presence through our Facebook page and website with consistent posts and updates.
Minimum Requirements:
*Must have a high school diploma or GED.
*Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with good time management skills and detail oriented.
*Customer service experience preferred.
*Experience with Point-Of-Sale system preferred.
*Basic computer & typing skills.
*Should be able to lift at least 25lbs. with assistance.
*Should be able to occasionally spend extended periods of time standing, walking, and moving about.
*Should be able to do basic math to figure price and quantities of materials.
*Must have good phone etiquette and communication skills.
