This customer was like many of our customer who comes in looking for wood flooring who we are able to persuade into using an alternative to true wood flooring. She went with a high definition porcelain tile that has a wood look. These tiles are ink jet printed with a true wood look that is much more practical than true wood as it will not gap, scratch, or absorb water. This Berkshire wood planking tile has a beautiful hand scraped texture. We laid this randomly with very thin grout lines giving it a true wood appearance. The Berkshire tile beautifully transitions to Marazzi’s Arte 12×12 tile in the bathroom that keeps the bathroom simple, but still has its own personality. The entryway utilized larger format tiles brick laid to offset the pattern in the tile. This Marazzi Timeless collection tile has a marble appearance but still has a great texture creating great functionality in an entryway area where water can collect during the winter and create a slipping hazard.
